Bovac: Development of a prophylactic vaccine and diagnostic markers to prevent and diagnose
Lyme Borreliosis specific to Europe and North America
Bovac brings together leading European research groups from four countries to identify vaccine candidates to
develop a prophylactic vaccine against Lyme borreliosis and the identification of novel markers enabling the early and
reliant diagnosis of disease to allow proper treatment of patients.
This project is funded within the sixth Framework of the
European commison for two years starting 15th October 2004. A list and description of the participants is presented under
